E-commerce & Digital Marketing Assistant

London: Remote working with flexibility. Maternity contract. 

Reporting to the Ecommerce and Digital Marketing Manager, assist on the day-to-day running, operations, merchandising, marketing and customer service of Marie-Chantal’s eCommerce website. Assist on digital marketing channels including SEO and Email.

Digital Marketing:

● Email marketing - manage the send of campaigns from build, test, to send. 
● SEO optimisation of the website including keyword analysis, page optimisation, competitor analysis.
● Support paid search agency to ensure they are kept informed of launches, promotions and new content.

Customer Service:

● Manage day-to-day customer queries via email and website promptly and efficiently, following established process and service level.
● Investigate problems, develop solutions and follow up with cross-functional teams to find answers to customers’ questions. Liaise with warehouse and couriers to resolve delivery issues and complaints including filing claims for lost parcels.
● Summarise customer issues and come up with recommendations.
● Process returns and refunds in a timely manner.
● Produce weekly and monthly customer service KPI reports, and monthly insight report from
customer interactions.

Site Merchandising:

● Day to day updates of the e-commerce content
● Implement markdowns and promotions
● Manual VM of products in categories where appropriate.
● Optimise site search and cross sells and report on results.
● Raise tickets to web development agency about site issues and follow them up. 

Wholesale/Dropship:

● Work with dropship partners to ensure their product catalogue is up to date and that they have all assets they need.
● Support wholesale team with customer service. 

Essential Experience:

●  2+ years of experience in eCommerce within the retail industry, ideally in a similar role for a growing fashion brand.
●  Good experience and knowledge of the luxury fashion industry, with experience in luxury childrenswear a bonus
●  Experience using Google Analytics, MailChimp (or similar), and all major social media platforms.
●  Knowledge of SEO.
●  Experienced on major eCom platforms, versed in back-office administration
●  Confident with Microsoft office suite and proficient in Excel

●  Good organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines.
●  Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
●  Highly numerate with a solid understanding of ecommerce performance metrics

●  Proactive with excellent eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
●  Flexible and proactive attitude. Self-motivated.

Production Assistant (3 days/week) 

London: Remote working with flexibility.

The Production Assistant’s role is to support the Production and Design areas with a wide range of tasks across the product life cycle, including sample organisation, general department admin, keeping track of administrative paperwork, scheduling couriers, updating information on CMS as well as assistance in creative projects.

Key Responsibilities:  

Assist Production with Administrative tasks:

  • Keep production files updated
  • Order labels, trims and barcodes for all orders placed.
  • Create product codes, sku’s and upload to CMS
  • Manage the production administration keeping on top of deliveries, packing lists and invoices
  • Book deliveries and liaise with DC
  • Raise PO’s on CMS
  • Receive in goods on CMS
  • Schedule all couriers for the department, send sample fabrics, trims, etc. to vendors
  • Quality Control of bulk production 
  • Support Production with Reporting
  • Attend prototype and sample fitting sessions with design and production colleagues and keep detailed minutes of all comments.

 Liaise with all other departments with regards to product information:

  • Share new product details and price alterations with Web, Marketing, PR, WS and Retail teams.
  • Update WS Line Sheets and Order Sheets with new Products and price alterations. 

Graphic Design and other Creative Projects

  • Support design with special projects, recoloring/resizing prints, embroideries … 
  • Support creative with clipping imagery for Web

General office support as required. 

 Essential Experience:

Design and Product Development Co-ordinator (3 days/week)

London: Remote working with flexibility.

The Design and Product Development Co-ordinator supports the Head of Production with a wide range of tasks in the product life cycle and plays an active role in all aspects of the design and product development process, namely R&D, print and embroidery developments, line plans, product development, garment tech as well liaising with factories and Quality Control.

Key Responsibilities:  

Assist Production Manager and Commercial Director with R&D for seasonal and core collection in line with the directives of the Creative Director.

Assist with defining creative direction for the season, creating mood boards, print proposals and colour palettes for each range/season. 

  • Develop new prints/colourways supported by an extensive print archive.
  • Assisting in creating artwork for graphics and logos. 
  • Assist with defining key silhouette direction, sketching new styles, updating existing styles.
  • Create line plans in CAD format and also create presentations using hand illustrated flat sketches. 
  • Attend fabric shows, meetings with mills and agents.

Assist Production with Sourcing 

  • Assist with research and follow-up new manufacturers
  • Own the sampling process, tracking developments ensuring critical path calendar is adhered to.

Garment Tech

  • Create technical specification packages with workable technical construction notes and diagrams.
  • To alter and update technical construction details as required and provide an accurate record on each style.
  • Maintaining product Tech Specs and BOM’s updated.
  • Prepare product grading for production. 

Liaise with factories to create prototypes, which meet designer, costing and factory requirement.

To actively participate in prototype and sample fitting sessions

Approve lab dips

Available to travel when necessary

Quality Control and sign-off of PP and TOP samples. 

Essential Experience
