SS18 Trend Report
Our Marie-Chantal Spring Summer 2018 collection is inspired by idyllic beauty of growing up in the countryside. Childhood days spent playing with friends and siblings - running through wild flower meadows and lavender fields.
Little girl with plaits in their hair wearing apron style dresses evoking the timeless style of Laura Ingalls Wilder's Prairie stories. Endless summer days spent collecting flowers, daydreaming and sitting on hay bales reading books together. Then back home to create hair crows with their flowers.
This season, our three exclusive prints pay homage to wild flowers - Herbarium, Cherry Blossom and Cherry Tree flow through our collection. Dresses and tops are trimmed with matching rick-rack and accented with lace trims. Continuing the theme, the collar on our baby onesies have charming embroidery of dragonflies, butterflies and bees.
Princess Marie-Chantal says: "My children loved the adventure of playing outside when they were small. Making dens and climbing trees was their passion. Whether you live in the city or the countryside, it is so important for children to connect with nature."
